Mark DeVries, seminar presenter for HomeWord Parent Seminars, is currently the Associate Pastor for Youth and their Families at First Presbyterian Church in Nashville, Tennessee. He is also the founder and director of “Youth Ministry Architects,” a consulting firm that helps churches in transition in their youth ministries.
Mark has written five books, including the best-selling Family-Based Youth Ministry (InterVarsity, 1994). He also served as general editor of the True Love Waits Bible (Broadman & Holeman, 1996). Besides his involvement with Understanding Your Teenager, he also conducts seminars for such organizations as YouthBuilders and Youth Specialties.
