Jesus, a lunatic?

I was reading this morning Matthew chapter 25 (take the time to read them and see) and I began to think about what Jesus was talking about here. He is going through multiple parables but most with the conclusion that he is the final authority. What stood out to me is that these words really show two different opinions. Jesus was either a lunatic, someone who claimed to be the final judge, or he was who he claimed to be, the Son of God.
I mean, from scripture it doesn’t seem you can say that Jesus was JUST a good man, JUST a moral teacher. Maybe if you disregard the words he says here and other places. But the point remains, either someone will believe what he says he is, or throw it out and think he is crazy. While I believe Jesus Christ is the savior and king of my life, I am still stricken by the complete opposites we can see here. Now, this argument was best presented by Lewis in Mere Christianity and I think he does explain it best (shameless plug for you to read it, I know).
The point remains, is he your Lord, your King, and your Savior? Or is he simply a good guy, a nice guy, and a great teacher? And that is just it, he can’t be simply that, the words he spoke do not allow it. This train of thought leads to think that if he is who he says he is, then the other words he spoke must be true as well!
Which means, in closing, we must obey and follow. If he is the one to separate the goats from the sheep, to be the final judge then it only says he is the one we must seek to love and live for. The question remains in my head though, how Jesus? How today can I live for you?
